Shandong Gancheng Group, as BYD's core distributor in Shandong, has recently encountered a serious operational crisis. More than 20 of its 4S stores have closed down one after another, triggering a wave of consumer rights protection. The affected consumers' prepaid "three-year joint warranty" insurance premiums, maintenance packages and other services cannot be fulfilled. Gancheng Group was once an important partner of BYD, with an annual turnover of 3 billion yuan. However, due to blind expansion and policy adjustments, the group's capital chain broke, leading to the current situation. BYD said it is assisting in handling customer and employee-related issues.
