Changan Automobile issued an announcement that its automobile business will be separated from the China North Industries Group Corporation and become an independent central enterprise. This means that Changan Automobile is on the same level as FAW and Second Automobile Works, and at the same time excludes the possibility of merging with Dongfeng Motor.
