Mercedes-Benz G-Class electric car sales are poor, internal executives admit failure

Mercedes-Benz internal executives privately admitted that the pure electric G-Class model suffered a "complete failure" in the market. The pure electric G-Class G580 with EQ Technology has only sold 1,450 units in the nearly one year since its launch, while the sales of traditional gasoline and diesel versions of the G-Class were close to 9,700 units in the same period.
