BASF opens battery recycling plant in Germany

BASF has opened a battery recycling plant called Black Mass in Schwarzheide, Germany, which is one of the largest battery recycling plants in Europe with an annual processing capacity of 15,000 tons. The plant is mainly responsible for the collection, discharge and dismantling of used batteries and production waste, as well as the production and refining of Black Mass.
