Great Wall Motors reported that BYD's emissions did not meet standards

Great Wall Motors announced that it has submitted a complaint to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology regarding the use of atmospheric pressure fuel tanks by BYD Qin PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS DM-i, which are suspected of not meeting the emission standards for evaporative pollutants. BYD responded that the test vehicle was purchased, kept, and sent for inspection by Great Wall Motors, and that the test vehicle strictly did not meet the inspection requirements of the national standard, so the test results were invalid.
