Volkswagen Group and Rivian reach cooperation

Volkswagen Group announced that it will invest $5 billion to fully adopt Rivian's next-generation SUV platform (R2) technology architecture as the digital base for all future pure electric models. This means that all Volkswagen's products in the electric vehicle field, including electric vehicles of Volkswagen Group brands such as Audi, Porsche, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Scout, etc., will share Rivian's modular and highly scalable platform.
