Li Yunfei, general manager of brand and public relations of BYD Group, responded to the controversy about "Evergrande in the car circle" on Weibo. He pointed out that a northern car company has been creating negative public opinion in the industry since the second half of 2023, frequently hyping sensitive topics such as "high debt ratio" and "financial fraud", trying to use the label of "Evergrande in the car circle" to guide public sentiment and maliciously discredit BYD. Li Yunfei emphasized that the relevant reports have been thoroughly investigated by the regulatory authorities and the exchange, and it was finally confirmed that BYD's operations were compliant and the report was not established.
