China Passenger Car Association releases passenger car market retail data for May

According to preliminary statistics from the China Passenger Car Association, the retail sales of the national passenger car market reached 1.93 million vehicles in May, a year-on-year increase of 13% and a month-on-month increase of 10%. The cumulative retail sales this year are 8.802 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 9%. In addition, from May 1 to 31, the wholesale volume of passenger car manufacturers nationwide was 2.329 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 14% and a month-on-month increase of 6%.
