Qualcomm acquires UK semiconductor company Alphawave IP Group

Qualcomm has agreed to acquire British semiconductor company Alphawave IP Group for approximately $2.4 billion. The enterprise value of the transaction is approximately $2.4 billion (approximately RMB 17.2 billion). Under the terms of the acquisition, each AlphaWave shareholder will be entitled to receive $2.48 in cash per share of AlphaWave stock. Alphawave focuses on developing high-speed semiconductors and connection technologies for data centers and artificial intelligence applications.
