Michelin announces it will close a factory

French tire manufacturer Michelin announced that it will permanently close a plant in Querétaro, central Mexico, at the end of 2025. The decision is mainly due to the transformation of the passenger car and light truck tire market, making it difficult for the plant's infrastructure to adapt to new market demands.
