Rapidus plans to mass-produce 2nm chips in 2027

Rapidus aims to achieve mass production of 2nm chips in 2027 and has launched a 2nm pilot production line in April. The company is in talks with about 40-50 companies to find potential foundry customers. Rapidus President Junyoshi Koike said they are in talks with the American technology giant known as GAFAM and startups that design AI chips.
