TSMC adjusts global capacity investment strategy

TSMC is adjusting its global capacity investment strategy. In the United States, TSMC has advanced the construction schedule of new 2nm and A16 process wafer fabs to cope with the pressure of the Trump administration's domestic manufacturing needs. In Japan, one of TSMC's wafer fabs is performing poorly and the second wafer fab is facing delays. In Germany, TSMC may slow down its investment in German wafer fabs due to the shrinking automotive industry.
