China's lithium battery production hits new high in April 2025

According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to April 2025, China's total lithium battery production has exceeded 473GWh, a year-on-year increase of 68%. Among them, the output of energy storage lithium batteries exceeded 110GWh, and the installed capacity of power lithium batteries for new energy vehicles was about 184GWh.
