Volkswagen plans massive job cuts in Germany

Volkswagen plans to cut 35,000 jobs in Germany in the next few years, of which 20,000 jobs have been scheduled to be cut by 2030. Volkswagen mainly uses severance pay and early retirement plans to achieve layoffs, of which the early retirement plan constitutes the main part of the 20,000 layoffs.
