Sunny Optical Technology releases shipment data for May 2025

Sunny Optical Technology announced its shipments in May 2025. The data showed that the shipments of mobile phone lenses reached 98.099 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.2%; the shipments of automotive lenses were 10.706 million units, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%; and the shipments of mobile phone camera modules were 37.729 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 17.1%. Sunny Optical said that the increase in shipments of automotive lenses was mainly due to the growth of customer demand, while the decline in shipments of mobile phone camera modules was due to the company's focus on mid-to-high-end products and the significant improvement in product structure.
