FAW-Volkswagen recently carried out a large-scale organizational structure adjustment for its Volkswagen brand, involving multiple sectors such as marketing, customer operations, and products. The adjustment aims to break down departmental barriers, integrate customer touchpoints, and shift from To B marketing to To C strategy. The marketing department and the customer operations department were integrated to improve potential customer conversion and customer life cycle experience. At the same time, a product operation department was established to advance product definition to the early stage of R&D to be closer to the market.
