BMW may change battery supplier

AESC's delay could force BMW to switch battery suppliers. BMW already works with Chinese supplier CATL in China and Europe. But importing from China is more expensive, and U.S. customers don't get subsidies to buy them. Another option is to use a supplier that has a production plant in the U.S., such as LG Energy Solution or SK On.
