Japan's Suzuki halts Swift production due to rare earth issues

Japan's Suzuki Motors was forced to suspend production of the Swift model due to delays in parts procurement caused by China's rare earth export controls. It is reported that this was due to the company's refusal to accept China's rare earth inspection.
