FAW-Volkswagen recalls some Sagitar vehicles

FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and has decided to recall some Sagitar vehicles produced between September 1, 2018 and August 19, 2019, totaling 202,662 vehicles, starting from July 15, 2025. The reason for the recall is that the wheel speed sensor housing material has insufficient moisture resistance, which may cause the wheel speed sensor signal to be out of tolerance, and the ABS, ESP and other functions to be disabled, posing a safety hazard. FAW-Volkswagen will replace the optimized wheel speed sensors for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
