BMW plans to launch extended-range electric vehicles

BMW plans to launch an extended-range electric vehicle, which is expected to be available in 2026. The model, called iX5 REx, will be equipped with a small internal combustion engine that is only used to charge the battery, and is expected to have a range of up to 1,000 kilometers.
