Vietnam's automotive market to continue growing in May 2025

In May 2025, Vietnam's new car market maintained its growth momentum, with sales reaching 33,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%. From the beginning of this year to date, cumulative sales have reached 151,000 units, an increase of 18.3%. Local automaker VinFast ranks first with a market share of more than 25%. Its electric models VF 5 and VF 3 take the top two spots in the sales list respectively. Vietnamese users have a strong preference for local brands and new energy models.
