Stellantis seeks to streamline its brand portfolio, Maserati may be sold

Stellantis, the world's fourth-largest automaker, is considering selling its luxury brand Maserati to simplify its brand portfolio. Stellantis had previously pledged to fully develop brands such as Maserati and Alfa Romeo, and hired McKinsey Consulting to provide advice on the impact of Trump's tariff policy. However, McKinsey's advice included selling Maserati. Although a Stellantis spokesman said Maserati is not for sale, some investors and analysts believe that reducing the number of brands will help improve the group's profit margins.
