Alibaba opens second data center in South Korea

Alibaba plans to open its second data center in South Korea at the end of June as part of its 380 billion yuan (about $52.9 billion) investment plan in artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. The move is aimed at meeting the growing demand for cloud and artificial intelligence services from Korean companies. Alibaba Cloud has been operating in the Korean market since 2022 and has served many well-known companies.
