Honda and Nissan resume cooperation talks

Honda and Nissan have restarted cooperation negotiations after a four-month cooling-off period, and recent consultation meetings attended by executives from both sides show that the possibility of cooperation is heating up. Previously, Honda and Nissan jointly launched cooperation negotiations with Mitsubishi Motors in August 2024, but the talks collapsed in December due to management integration issues. This restart is based on the consideration of the common interests of the two automakers.
