WeRide secretly submits Hong Kong IPO application

WeRide, an autonomous driving technology company, has secretly submitted an application for listing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In the first quarter of 2025, WeRide achieved total revenue of 72.44 million yuan, a slight increase year-on-year; gross profit margin reached 35.0%, of which Robotaxi revenue increased significantly, accounting for 22.3% of total revenue. In addition, WeRide and Uber announced in May this year to deepen cooperation, jointly launch the largest Robotaxi cooperation plan in the industry's history, and received an additional US$100 million equity investment from Uber.
