Nezha Auto may need to return 2 billion baht, or about 438 million yuan, in subsidies to the Thai government because it failed to meet its production target in Thailand. According to the Thai government's electric vehicle subsidy program, automakers must return the subsidies if they fail to meet the subsidy conditions. Nezha Auto's local production target in Thailand this year is 19,000 vehicles, but so far it has only produced about 4,000 vehicles, far below its promised target.
