Continental plans to sell ContiTech subsidiary business

Continental announced plans to sell the ContiTech subsidiary business at the Frankfurt Capital Markets Day event, which is expected to be completed in 2026. At the same time, Continental adjusted its sales and profit margin expectations for 2025, affected by exchange rate fluctuations and global trade barriers. Continental will transform into a manufacturer focused on the tire business, increase shareholder dividends, and evaluate special dividends and stock buybacks. The tire subsidiary has 20 factories around the world and has a competitive advantage, while the ContiTech subsidiary will focus on industrial business.
