DDR4 memory prices soar

Due to the reduction in supply, DDR4 memory prices continue to rise, up 50% in two weeks, and more than doubling since the second quarter. The price of DDR4 16Gb chips is even about twice as high as that of DDR5 chips of the same capacity, which is the first time in the history of DRAM. As major manufacturers such as Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix turn to the DDR5 and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) markets and gradually stop supplying DDR4, DDR4 prices continue to rise.
