Northvolt bankruptcy asset valuation and debt situation

According to reports, Chinese buyers may not be accepted by Sweden because the Strategic Products Supervisory Authority (ISP) has rejected Chinese capital's acquisition of similar commercial enterprises. SVT also said that according to documents from the Stockholm District Court, Northvolt's debt exceeds 80 billion kronor (about 7.2 billion euros), while the asset valuation of Northvolt AB and the main plant in Skellefteå, "Northvolt Ett", is only slightly more than 2 billion kronor (180 million euros). Bankruptcy asset sales usually do not reflect the full market value, so Northvolt creditors are likely to face significant debt relief when debts are settled.
