Lotus Cars plans to end UK production

Lotus Cars plans to stop making cars in the UK after more than 70 years, putting 1,300 jobs at risk. The company has suspended production from mid-May to manage inventory due to supply chain issues. Lotus Cars was founded in 1948 and has previously experienced years of losses.
