Giant Motors to invest 3 billion pesos to revamp Mexican plant

Giant Motors Latin America (GML) announced today that it will invest 3 billion pesos to upgrade its assembly plant in Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo. The project includes the expansion of a 33,000 square meter industrial warehouse, a new 15-hectare logistics site, a high-performance test track, a new digital training center, specialized assembly lines, and an area dedicated to clean energy technologies that will allow the production of up to 12,000 additional JAC brand vehicles per year.
