CATL Indonesia battery factory project launched

On June 29, CATL's joint venture battery factory project in Indonesia officially started construction. The initial production capacity of the project is set at 6.9GWh, and it is planned to be officially put into production at the end of 2026; the long-term goal is to expand production to 15GWh in stages, which can meet the battery needs of 250,000 to 300,000 electric vehicles.
