Lotus Cars considers building factory in US

Media reports said that the "instruction" to close the UK factory may come from Lotus China's management, partly to eliminate tariff barriers, and Lotus plans to build a factory in the United States. Feng Qingfeng, CEO of Lotus China, mentioned in the first quarter earnings conference call on June 25 that since the United States is the main target market for Lotus sports cars, localized production is a feasible solution.
