Passenger car registrations in Spain rose by 15.2% year-on-year to 119,125 in June 2025. Electric vehicles (BEV + PHEV) sales hit a record of 24,776 units, with a current market share of 20.8%. Year-to-date, car registrations in Spain total 609,801 (up 13.9%). Private car purchases were the main growth driver, up 28.8%, while the rental fleet fell by 1.5%.
