Siemens announces US lifts export restrictions on chip design software to China

Siemens AG recently announced that it has received a notification from the US government confirming that Washington has lifted export restrictions on chip design software to China. This means that Siemens can continue to provide comprehensive software and technical services to Chinese customers. It is reported that other EDA suppliers such as Synopsys and Cadence have also received the same notification and have informed their respective Chinese customers.
