Microsoft plans to lay off 9,000 employees

Microsoft recently announced that it will carry out a new round of layoffs, involving up to 9,000 people, accounting for 4% of its global workforce. The layoffs will affect multiple departments, among which the Xbox gaming department may be the most affected.
