Auto dealers in the Yangtze River Delta region are facing serious operating difficulties. The auto dealer chambers of commerce in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui have jointly appealed to major OEMs to take urgent measures to improve the current situation. The main problems faced by dealers include heavy inventory pressure, cash flow crisis, declining sales and rising costs, and disordered policies of OEMs. The chambers of commerce proposed four major reform directions, including establishing a production and sales coordination mechanism, optimizing rebate pricing policies, strengthening risk-sharing awareness and jointly building a healthy industry ecosystem.
