UK new car registrations up 6.8% in June

Preliminary data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed that new car registrations in the UK increased by 6.8% year-on-year in June to 191,268 units, of which demand for pure electric vehicles increased by 39.1% to 47,351 units.
