Volvo China launches layoff plan

Volvo recently laid off its employees in China, mainly employees of the Shanghai Technical Research and Development Center, including engineering, research and development, supply chain management and other positions. The layoff compensation is basically N + 3 months' salary. This is part of Volvo's previously announced global strategic restructuring plan.
