Nissan and Foxconn discuss cooperation in electric vehicle production

Nissan Motor is in talks with Foxconn Group to hand over its Oppama plant in Japan to Foxconn for the production of electric vehicles. The move is part of Nissan's restructuring plan to reduce costs and improve plant capacity utilization. Foxconn plans to produce its own brand of electric vehicles at the plant, while Nissan will open up its idle capacity to Foxconn.
