BMW loses trademark infringement case in Indonesia

BMW has failed in its trademark infringement lawsuit against BYD in Indonesia. The court held that despite the similarity in names, BYD's "BYD M6" and BMW's M6 models are clearly different in positioning and brand identity and will not cause confusion among consumers.
