According to Automotive News Canada, Nissan has suspended production of three models for the Canadian market at two U.S. assembly plants, including the Nissan Pathfinder, Murano crossover and Frontier pickup. The decision was made while waiting for the outcome of U.S.-Canada trade negotiations. Christian Meunier, chairman of Nissan Americas, said the move is expected to be relatively short-lived. Previously, the company had built up inventory for the three models in its Canadian dealer network.
