In May 2025, the global new energy vehicle market ushered in a historic breakthrough, with sales of pure electric and plug-in hybrid models reaching 1.6 million units, a year-on-year increase of 24%, setting a new monthly record for the year. Among them, the Chinese market's monthly sales exceeded one million for the first time, contributing 63.75% of the global share with a milestone of 1.021 million units, becoming the core key to growth.
