The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has set up an online platform to handle the payment period issues of auto companies

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has opened a new window on the "National Complaint Platform for Default and Delayed Payments to SMEs" to handle complaints from SMEs about the payment cycle of key automakers. The window mainly targets four types of problems, including automakers' failure to comply with the 60-day payment period commitment, unreasonable extension of the payment period, forcing SMEs to accept non-cash payment methods, and other violations of the "Regulations on Guaranteeing Payment of SMEs".
