Total number of new car registrations in Russia and brand rankings in June 2025

In June 2025, the total number of new car registrations in Russia was 90,116, down 27.6% year-on-year. The market dominance is still in the hands of the local brand Lada, but it fell 29.3% year-on-year. Great Wall Motor's Haval, Chery, Changan and Geely all saw a drop of more than 30%. Belgee, a joint venture between Belarus and Geely, grew 25.5% against the trend, setting a new record. Another brand that has emerged is Solaris, with sales increasing by 55.9% year-on-year, rising to eighth place in the market ranking.
