Mercedes-Benz Kamenz plant starts new battery production

Mercedes-Benz has started production of a new generation of drive batteries at the Kamenz plant, a technical center in the global battery production network. More than two million batteries have been produced at the plant since 2012. The new batteries will be used in the new CLA model, which is assembled in Rastatt, Baden-Württemberg.
