Maserati Grecale gets big price cut

Recently, the Maserati Grecale SUV has seen a significant price cut in Shanghai and other places, with the 2023 model limited-time price as low as 388,800 yuan. Behind this phenomenon is the buyout underwriting strategy adopted by dealers to clear inventory. Maserati's import sales in China in 2024 were only 878 units, a year-on-year plunge of 79%. This phenomenon reflects the survival crisis of second-tier luxury brands in the context of lagging electrification transformation and insufficient product competitiveness.
