Nissan Motor Africa President Jordi Vera said the company remained committed to growing in Africa despite uncertainty over the future of its Rosslyn plant in South Africa. It plans to launch a new SUV model and new variants of existing models. New CEO Ivan Espinosa unveiled a sweeping cost-cutting plan in May, including cutting 15% of its global workforce and closing seven plants.
