Brazilian court rules BYD violates 4G communications technology patent

The First Commercial Court of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ruled that BYD had infringed two 4G communication technology patents of Japanese patent operator IP Bridge and required it to immediately stop using the relevant technology in electric vehicles sold in Brazil within five days of receiving the subpoena, otherwise it would face a fine of 20,000 reais per day.
