The Korean local brand landscape remains unchanged in June 2025

In June 2025, the number of new car registrations in the Korean market reached 145,000, of which more than 80% were still occupied by local brands. Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors still firmly hold the market dominance, accounting for more than 67% of the market share. Hyundai returned to the growth track with a year-on-year increase of 8.2%, and Kia also recorded a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, ranking second.
